UPON CONSIDERATION of the application of counsel for the applicant, and the response filed thereto, IT IS ORDERED that the execution of sentence of death is stayed pending the timely filing and disposition of a petition for a writ of certiorari. See Cole v. Texas, 499 U.S. 1301 (1991) (SCALIA, J., in chambers). Should the petition for a writ of certiorari be denied, this stay shall terminate automatically. In the event the petition for a writ of certiorari is granted, the stay shall terminate upon the issuance of the mandate of this Court.
