Project Update

For your information, beginning Thursday, May 27, core drilling associated with the U.S. Supreme Court Modernization Project will take place in the south drive of the building's garage (near the intersection of Second Street, N.E. and East Capitol Street). The work will take place from 5:30 p.m. until 3 a.m. for several days, until the work is completed. Steps will be taken to minimize any noise associated with the project.

Beginning Tuesday, June 1, concrete removal in the building's north drive (near the intersection of Second Street, N.E. and Constitution Avenue), will take place from 6:30 until 10 p.m. The work will continue for several days. Again, steps will be taken to minimize any noise associated with the project.

If you are disturbed by the noise and it is after regular business hours, please contact the Court at 202-479-3000.

No construction will take place over the Memorial Holiday weekend.
